Great video of the Bob marley Tour, Jamaica
If you have never been to Jamaica, if you have never Heard of Rastafarians, if you have never Heard of reggae music you can be excused, if no one has ever offered you a strange looking cigarette that makes you go all drowsy, no problem and that fact that you have never tasted curried goat or Jerk chicken won’t score any bad points against you but if you have never heard of Bob Marley then man, you must live in a cave.
War: Written by Bob Marley from a quote by Emperor Haile Salassie
Bob Marley who was born on February 6, 1945, in St. Ann Parish, Jamaica, for the troglodytes amongst us is without doubt the best known of all Jamaica’s sons and daughters, and Jamaica has raised some fine children, people like Louise Simone Bennett-Coverley or Miss Lou, OM, OJ, MBE, Usain Bolt, Biggie Smalls and let’s not forget them cool dudes of the Jamaica Bobsled team featured in the film Cool running, Buster Rhymes, Millie Small, Marcus Garvey and many more but Bob Marley stands head and shoulders above them all because of his music and his personal influence on people then and now.

Bob (Robert Nesta) Marley followed the Rastafarian Code and lived a short but fruitful life; Marley sold more than 20 million music albums, he advocated peace, love and tolerance and through his music managed to get the message through to some, not all, but enough people to make a difference. Bob Marley died on May 11 1981 in Miami, Florida, USA.
Jamaica has long idolised the man and there is a fine museum that tourists can visit when they come to Jamaica, here are a couple of blokes “doing it for Bob” Enjoy the video. remember to visit http://www.bobmarley.com/ for lots more about this great Jamaican.
