OK, so I haven't posted on this Blog for a wee while now but I really do have an explanation for my protracted absence from my Blogging duties. What, you might well ask, is this limp excuse for failing to Blog since the 15th of March? Well, I’ve been Blogging on another Blog instead of Blogging on this Blog, the Blog in question is called My Caribbean Holidays http://www.mycaribbeanholidays.blogspot.com.es/

My Caribbean Holidays Blog came about when I was talking to Lisa, the CEO of Jamaican Treasures, you know, the best luxury villa rentals in Jamaica and Lisa pointed out that Jamaican Treasures sister site, My Luxury Villas was actually an excellent site for villas in the Caribbean, so, being the inquisitive type, I had a look at the My Luxury Villas website and all the luxury villas they had, my god, there are over 1200 of them!

So, I decided that we needed another Blog for all the Caribbean villas because this little Blog is entitled My Jamaica Holidays, it seemed a bit daft to then go blubbering on about villas in places such as Anguilla, The Bahamas, Barbados, St Martin (Sint Marten) The Virgin islands, St. Barts, St. Croix, St. Kitts, Bermuda and a host of other islands in the Caribbean, West Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico, it would have got a bit complicated don’t you think?

Anyway, I started the Blog as My Caribbean Holidays (I know, I don’t have much imagination when it comes to choosing Blog titles) and I started to type away, as you do with these things and before you know it, I have all but forgotten this Blog! I also started producing videos for the Caribbean villas and added them to YouTube and a website I do especially for videos such as these, and before you could say “What about the My Jamaica Holidays Blog?” I was up to video number 95!

I was completely engrossed in producing videos for villas in Barbados, Anguilla, St Barts, The Bahamas and other exotic islands, it seemed the thing to be doing, the trouble was, there are so many villas on the MLV website and they are beautiful, and I’m sat here in the cold mountains of Andalucia dreaming of sipping Rum and eating Jerk Chicken on the beach in Anguilla, time passed me by.

No matter, I am back on the keypad and raring to go with bits and bobs I have collated on my favourite subject, yes, Jamaica villas and luxury holidays in the Caribbean islands and I make no excuse for my obsession with sunny faraway places, if your fingers and toes were as cold as mine, then I’m sure you would understand.

While I’m at it, I heard a really bad joke on the Frank Skinner Show the other night (For those who don’t know who Frank Skinner is, he sang on the England anthem “Football’s Coming Home”) and this bad apparently came from the lips of one of Britain’s finest comedians, Sir David Frost? Anyway, it goes like this;

“Marmite, Lucky for Pa!” geddit? No? (Ma Might (Wink, wink!) Lucky for Pa!)
