It is said that "travel broadens the mind" and if that is correct then Travel Blogs must also do the same, no? I think it does, or in any case, writing about interesting places like Puerta Vallarta and Mexico broadens my mind because I find both very interesting.

I´m a Spanish speaking Brit who lives in Andalucia, Spain, in the mountains above Malaga and I have long wanted to visit Mexico but for some reason I never have got there, the nearest I managed was the Dominican Republic for a week, some years ago. It's strange the way we put things off.

Never mind. Puerta Vallarta, Mexico; Outside of Mexico City and Taquilla it is the most popular Mexican location with American and European tourists and it is also a great place to visit. The city is named after governer Jalisco, Ignacio Vallarta.

You will be suprised to know (er...or not suprised, if you are a regular on this Blog) that Jamaican Treasures and My Luxury Villas, their sister site have both got oodles of luxury villas and apartments in Puerta Vallarta and other parts of Mexico. Enter through arched doors with beautiful Morrocan style wrought iron, to a combination dining living area which opens onto a long spacious covered veranda. The veranda runs the length of the house overlooking a spacious pool and terrace with fabulous views of the bay.
