Here we are, back in Sunny Jamaica and to be specific, in Montego Bay or "Mobay" as it is known locally. One of the great things about writing this Blog for My Luxury Villas is that I get around the world. OK, not the real world, but in cyberspace. I also improve my knowledge of geography while I´m at it.

This blog entry I´m going to let you into a little secret, it's called Anguilla. Yes, that little piece of British overseas territory "close to the Leeward Islands and Lesser Antilles" so they tell me on Wikipedia.

Scotch on the Rocks is so named because Sitting on the rocks just above the Caribbean Sea, "Scotch on the Rocks" was originally owned by a Scottish Lord.

In the 1980s, the Earl of Mansfield sold the house to a Jamaican family, renowned for founding Red Stripe Beer. Today, Scotch on the Rocks is still owned by members of that family. There, thats why!
